Leading crypto payment processor, Data Mynt has integrated with Ethereum second-layer blockchain, Polygon. Enabling rapid on-chain payments for users and merchants.
On Friday, 18 March 2022, crypto payment solutions provider, Data Mynt declared its integration with the Polygon blockchain network. Integrating with the Ethereum scaling solution will enable the payment processor’s user-base – consisting of partners, retailers, and merchants – to benefit from faster transactions with lower costs.
The integration will also allow the payment firm to support Polygon’s vast network/ecosystem, which currently stands at over a hundred million user addresses, which have collectively processed over a billion dollars in assets. The network currently supports over 3000 Distributed Ledger-based applications (DApps) whose users hold over $5 billion in assets.
“We can now tell retailers that Data Mynt is ready to service Polygon network users and transaction speed, which is more aligned with current in-person checkout expectations,” said Polygon Co-Founder and CEO, Jaynti Kanani “This is the power of public blockchains. Consumers and merchants engaged in a ‘pure’ transaction. That’s how Data Mynt and Polygon empowers everyone.”
The Data Mynt payment solution – having become available in the first quarter of 2022 – features unique technology. The firm’s payment processing technology allows merchants to offer a wider array of payment options while reducing payment costs and reducing the volatility risk associated with blockchain payments. “The speed, flexibility, and scalability of the Polygon network were key for us,” commented Data Mynt CEO Alex Christian about the company’s patent-pending payment processing method.
